Volunteer Information
Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunTEAer at the very first Northern Virginia Tea Festival! Please fill out the information below. In order to have the best tea festival, we need A LOT of volunteers. Share this form with your friends and family. The more volunteers we have the better the event. We won't be able to do it without you! There will be a variety of positions available for volunteers and many slots available. We will do our best to give you your priority position, but we REALLY appreciate all of our volunteers! All are welcome to apply!

Important information
Event Date and Time: Saturday, May 13, 2023 10:30a-6:30p (Setup will start at 7am. We will have vendor setup times available once selected.) Rain or shine.
Volunteer Times: 8am-8pm (minimum of 3hrs of volunteer time in a position recommended.)
What's Included
Free admission to the festival and afternoon tea lunch for all volunteers.
Indoor Bathroom access

Responsibilities
All volunteers are to stay until the end of their shift time in their assigned position. The festival and Elden Street Tea Shop is not responsible for injuries, theft, or breakage of products. All selected volunteers are responsible for submitting a completed application and following all required responsibilities of the Festival. You must stay until the end of your singed up volunteer position.
Positions Available
Check-In- Check tickets, wristbands, and does on site payments
Bag Check - Checks to make sure people are not bringing weapons into the event
Security- Assigned at the parameter's of the events to ensure customers pay to come in
Custodial Maintenance- Helps keep the trashcans/ Area outside outside neat
Customer/ Vendor Information and Assistance- Helps vendors and customers with basic questions and will point them to the right people for assistance as needed.
Morning Setup- Setting up tables, helping vendors as needed, helping with decorating.
Evening Breakdown- Taking down decor, gathering all final trash to haul away, helping vendors breakdown as needed.
Tea Garden table busser- clearing off tables as needed
Tea Shop Table busser- clearing off tables as needed
Dish Washer- helping keep the flow of the afternoon tea lunches going!
Exhibit Host- Introducing and keeping presenter on schedule
Raffle Announcer- announces various raffle items through out the day.
Photographer- takes pictures at the event because Rachel ALWAYS forgets!
Green Carpet Entrance Photographer- Every visitor will come through the green carpet sponsor area and someone can assist those customers with taking fun photos in the booth
Pre order SWAG bag packers- need help packing pre-orders for the event.
