Top-quality orthodox teas from Nepal are produced in very small quantities and are often hard to find. Everest Gold aims to be an outstanding example of Nepalese black tea, available at the time of writing. However, this tea may vary, sometimes quite a lot, from year to year. Our current Everest Gold is a beautiful Black Tea from Pathivara Tea Estate in remote eastern Nepal. It is partially oxidized, so you will notice golden tips. It is smooth, woody, and slightly malty in flavor. It is not astringent, with a gentle finish.
