Everest Gold

Top-quality orthodox teas from Nepal are produced in very small quantities and are often difficult to find. Everest Gold strives to be an exceptional example of Nepalese black tea, available at the time of writing. However, this tea can vary, sometimes quite a bit, from year to year. Our current Everest Gold is a beautiful black tea from Pathivara Tea Estate in remote eastern Nepal. It is partially oxidized, so you will notice golden tips. It is smooth, woody, and slightly malty in flavor. It is not astringent, with a gentle finish.
