While there is no strict rule for what defines an Irish Breakfast tea blend, nearly all blenders agree that Assam, a malty Indian tea, is a key ingredient, combined with Ceylon in some proportion for a bright, astringent mouthfeel. Following traditional methods, our blend includes Chinese Keemun and a slightly higher amount of Assam and Ceylon, typical of English Breakfast. This is a robust, malty tea designed to give your morning a strong start.
