Our Vietnamese Green is a distinctive green tea from the Tan Huong cooperative in Thai Nguyen, a region in northern Vietnam renowned for tea. Produced at a female-owned cooperative, this tea is highly aromatic with delicate vegetal notes and subtle hints of asparagus.
Featuring long, wiry, twisted leaves in a vibrant emerald green, it brews a clear, bright, pale yellow-green cup. The flavor softens as it cools, making it an excellent choice for cold brewing into iced tea.
Tan Huong is the last cooperative in the area to receive initial support from the Canadian Centre for International Study and Cooperation, ensuring a tea rooted in tradition and community.
