This Shu (baked) puerh brick is made from leaves grown in the Menghai region of Yunnan, China. Tea has been produced there dating back at least to the Qing Dynasty and is highly sought after for puerh production. This brick is made using a more modern style of puerh processing, which quickly develops a smooth, earthy flavor, and is wrapped in dried bamboo. Each cake weighs approximately 500 grams.
