Produced in Shizuoka prefecture, Japan, this is a traditional Japanese tea. Genmaicha Organic is crafted with larger leaves, bits of stems, and rice kernels to create a brew with a toasted, almost buttery aroma and flavor. Also known as Genmai Cha or Brown Rice Tea, it features roasted rice, some of which pops during roasting, resembling popcorn. This tea is widely enjoyed in Japan, developed with rice as a filler to reduce the volume of tea, helping to keep the price low and making it affordable for many.
